Celeste Rodriguez
Tanzlehrerin für Tango Argentino
Argentinien
I am a dancer, tango teacher, and milonguera from Buenos Aires, with nearly two decades of experience in Argentine tango. I started dancing in 2005, and in 2009, I decided to dedicate myself professionally to this art form. Since 2012, I have been teaching tango, sharing my passion and knowledge with students from all over the world.
I graduated from CETBA (Centro Educativo del Tango de Buenos Aires) as a Tango Dance Instructor and hold a degree in Dance Pedagogy from Germany. Additionally, I have training in ontological coaching, which allows me to approach teaching from a holistic perspective, enhancing body awareness, deep learning, and personal development.
My style is rooted in the old-school tango of the ‘80s and ‘90s, with a strong emphasis on musicality, connection, and elegance. I have trained with masters of traditional tango, tango nuevo, and queer tango, giving me the versatility to both dance and teach in leading and following roles. In my classes, I integrate elements from various styles while maintaining a solid foundation in classic tango technique.
Since 2018, I have been based in Berlin, where I have worked as a teacher at various tango schools, including Tangotanzen macht Schön, Mala Junta Berlin, and La Remise Tango. Beyond teaching, I have organized milongas in both Buenos Aires and Berlin, most notably La Domilonga Tango Club, which I directed simultaneously in both cities from 2012 to 2020.
I am the founder of Tango Celeste – Classes & Tours, where I offer personalized lessons and immersive tango trips to Buenos Aires (Tango Holidays). These journeys provide dancers with an authentic experience, connecting them with the culture, history, and essence of tango.
I travel regularly to Buenos Aires to continue my training, work, and stay connected to my roots, ensuring that my teaching reflects the depth, authenticity, and passion of Argentine tango.
